Operated by The Sherwin-Williams Company. United States.
A name and an SW number, e.g. "SW 7008". The most consistent identifier scheme of the twelve — one number, one colour, stable across collections.
Colourwise holds no Sherwin-Williams colour data — no names, no codes, no digital values, no LRVs. The brief singled Sherwin-Williams out as the strongest technical candidate, and on the data that is correct: name, number, RGB, HEX and LRV are all published in structured, stable form. The terms are also the most explicit refusal of the twelve, naming robots, scrapers and spiders directly and restricting all content to personal, non-commercial use. Being the best technical candidate and being unusable are not in tension here; the quality of the data is exactly why it is protected.
For any actual colour value, go to Sherwin-Williams’s own site, which is where the authoritative and current version lives.
Range names only. The colours within them are not reproduced here.
Two separate columns on purpose. A value being visible on a public page says nothing about whether it may be republished — that is what the terms of use decide, and here they say no.

Disallows `*selectedColorURN=urn:color*`, `*colorSearchTerm*` and `/color-visualization/` — the colour-browsing surfaces specifically.
Reviewed 2026-08-22. robots.txt governs crawling, not reuse.
Prohibits any use of "any robot, scraper, spider, or other automated means to access or gather content from the Websites"; "no Content may be copied, reproduced, modified... distributed, republished, downloaded, displayed, posted, or transmitted"; permission extends to viewing, printing and downloading "for personal and noncommercial use only".
A data licence. Sherwin-Williams already produces the structured file internally, so the obstacle is permission rather than extraction — which makes this the highest-value permission request of the twelve.
