Unless stated otherwise, HEKNO Ltd or its licensors own or control applicable rights in Colourwise’s original text, editorial work, software, designs and documentation. This includes the colour catalogue’s structured data — relationships, classifications, confidence framework, source-selection and compilation — as a database and/or selection and arrangement. HEKNO Ltd does not claim ownership of facts as such, public-domain material, or third-party rights (for example, CSS/web-standard named colours, which remain a freely usable W3C standard — see data sources).
You may browse, bookmark and use Colourwise lawfully; print a reasonable number of pages for personal reference; and quote limited extracts where permitted by law with appropriate attribution.
Unless applicable law expressly permits it, written permission is required to reproduce substantial content; systematically extract, harvest, scrape, crawl or mirror Colourwise’s content or data; repeatedly extract insubstantial parts in a way that conflicts with normal exploitation; create or enrich a competing colour database or knowledge service; redistribute datasets, taxonomies or metadata; commercially exploit Colourwise material; remove provenance or rights notices; or use Colourwise content in model training, fine-tuning, evaluation corpora, embeddings, retrieval systems or synthetic-dataset generation.
HEKNO Ltd does not grant a general licence for commercial AI training or competing data products. This policy does not override mandatory legal exceptions — anyone relying on one is responsible for satisfying every condition. Public page access does not itself grant a commercial training or extraction licence.
Ordinary indexing may be allowed through Colourwise’s robots and sitemap controls. Permission to index does not authorise bulk republication, dataset creation, generative substitution, commercial training or circumvention of these terms.
