Neutrals and earth tones with a warm undertone offer a softer alternative to cooler greys while still working as a versatile base.
Filtered for neutral or earth-tone colours with a warm undertone.
A warm neutral is a low-chroma colour whose small residual hue sits on the yellow-to-red side. Because its chroma is low it pairs with almost anything, and because its hue is warm it counteracts the bluish cast of north light and cool LED lamps. The same warmth can tip into yellow, pink or peach where the light is already warm, which is why warm neutrals behave very differently from room to room.
What the filter selected: 15 of the catalogue’s colours pass this test. Their relative luminance — roughly the share of light a surface in that colour would reflect — runs from 4% to 45%, with a median of 21%. 15 lean warm and 0 lean cool.

Undertone caution: two colours in the same family can still read very differently once on a large surface, depending on their undertone — check against your existing flooring, furniture and fittings, not the swatch alone.
Lighting caveat: a colour can look noticeably warmer or cooler depending on natural and artificial light through the day — see the lighting guide for what specifically changes and why.
Finish caveat: matt, eggshell and gloss finishes reflect light differently, which can make the same colour read lighter, darker or more saturated depending on the finish chosen.
Always view a physical sample in the actual room, at different times of day, before committing to a large surface.
